I’m trying to create an old fashioned computer screen animation where text is being entered (using text animator to type on the text). So far this is pretty easy but I’d like to add a little detail and I can’t figure out how. My text is pale blue on a black screen (pixelly font) and I want to place a blocky cursor (just a block of pale blue) where the next character is about to be typed – a bit like an old commodore 64 (https://www.c64-wiki.com/images/c/c9/Einschaltmeldung_C64.jpg). Does anyone have any ideas how to go about this kind of thing?

I’m planning an making a few different animations with different text so could really do with this working in an expression rather than manually key-framing positions by hand each time

    thanks in advance!

How about using a character and adding it at the end of the source text with an expression?

Lucida Console font that is suitable for console text has a full block character.
