Is it Just me or are EDLs not reliable?
Im using fcp 4.5 and on many occasions when I export an edl and then re-import it for usage, it captures the wrong material and sometimes gives me tape names I didn’t even log.
Why is that anf how do I get around it?

EDL’s can’t use tape names longer than 8? or so characters… but why export an EDL at all? just use the project file for recapture…
