    I have a project that is mostly media directly from a Firestore FS-4Pro. now since the Fs-4 needs to go back out into the field should i tranfer those needed files into the capture scratch disk file for my project? the project does have a small amount of footage from tape there already… there is more then enough room on the storage drive, not an issue

    just in case… the FSpro is a firewire protable hard drive

    Yes you need to move it. THe capture scratch is fine, although it really doesn’t matter where. As long as it’s not your local HD.
    You will probably need to relink the media files to where ever you move it to.
