  • Is Exporting to Compressor still an option in FCP 7

Posted by Mike Willcox on October 29, 2009 at 7:07 pm

I’m using FCP 7 here at this post house and the first problem I came across is when I export the sequence as a quicktime file it is not keeping the chapter markers on this one time line. I went back and added compression markers and made sure that DVD Chapter Markers was selected but it still doesn’t take the markers.
I have seen this problem before and my work around was just to export in compressor and the markers always showed up. Now the problem is when I go to File, Export, there is no compressor option. Can someone tell me what I am missing here?
    thanks, MIKE

    Thanks
