Is Encore the right choice?
Hello,
My first post on Creative Cow.
I have been authoring in DVDSP for some fairly complex DVDs that have required complex scripting. I have been pushing to find alternative ways to deliver to clients with the interactivity that these scripts provide. We have used other presentation programs that allow us to load up video files and add limited navigation, but need a high def way to add some scripting.
Does Encore have scripting capabilities? Internal or external(i.e. javascript, java, actionscript…). I can’t find much information on this and any advice would be helpful.

No, unfortunately it does not. For scripting capabilities with Blu-ray you need to use a professional authoring tool like:
NetBlender DoStudio
Sony Blu-print
Sonic Scenarist BDJon Geddes
