FWIW. I use an older firewire ipod for data transfer. I used it on a tv movie without problems. 1080. I would dump footage from p2 in powerbook to ipod. send off to editorial and they would download and send back. I also used a g-tech mini.

Ziggy, Keep in mind that the hvx200 will reformat (using fat32) that ipod,thus erasing yourmusic/data on your ipod. Soooyou wont be able to listen to that music without reformating again. This has been dicussed before.You are better off using a bus or battery powered harddrive. Stuart
