is catalyst prepare able to rewrap mxf to mov ?
i ve got 10 episode in xdcam hd mxc that i need to deliver in mov format without re transcoding. Any easy way to do it ?
I ve tried content browser but it always need to import/copy the file in a new location before i can do something to it as it doesn’t seems to see my mxc when i point to a folder ( i presume it need the famous xdroot structure to see it ).anyway i m willing to try catalyst prepare but is seems that it does transcoding and not only rewrap. Any ideas on a easy way to achieve this ? Best Regards.

No, but this feature is on the road map and should be implemented soon.
Content Browser can do it but the file needs to be part of an archive to be properly recognized. This is probably the way to go.

Is there a way to make my folder with my xmf clips an archive ? so it can be recognized by Content Browser without need if import?For the time being i ve imported the clips and then choose right click import to final cut for the .mov wrap, is it the correct workflow?
