  • Is anyone having trouble importing large files into Media 100?

Posted by Kurtis Penny on October 21, 2011 at 3:56 pm

Whenever I try to import files over 12 gigs into Media 100 I get one of two errors. “Out of Disk Space?” or a Full Parameter error at the end of the import.

This does seem to correspond with the system being upgraded to Lion. BTW. What is wrong with Lion. Is there a single piece of software it hasn’t messed up?

    Thanks,

    Albert

What is the codec, frame size and frame rate of the file you’re importing? QuickTime Player’s info window can show you this.

    It’s a 14.95 gig file. Quicktime says it’s a MPEG-2 Video 1920×1080.

I’m getting it with most large files.

Since it is an MPEG2 file, it will get transcoded to whatever codec you have selected on import. Filesize can increase dramatically, depending on your selection. Are you sure you have enough space for the import?
