  • Is After Effects best for effects over a whole movie?

Hey I’m a video design newbie, I just put together a 2 minute promo video in Movie Maker (I was in a time crunch and it was my only option) with a bunch of 3Ds graphics I created in AE. I want to apply some overall effects to the whole promo, like a few masks or some kind of filter. Basically, I want to try to bring some continuity to how the whole project looks, and also hide some of the poor quailty footage I had to use. Is AE best for this type of thing or is there another Adobe project I should turn to??

    Thanks

    Best? No.
However, you have AE and know AE, so, yes, it’s the better of a long list of tools you indicated you don’t have. so AE is what you’re going to use by default.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”
