Is a Business license needed for a short film
Hello
Do i need a business license to do a short film in the Vancouver area, either for something done fully in CG or something live action. I also have an investor who needs me to write them a receipt. Any other advice on the business side of things that would be required would be greatly appreciated. I would be interested in selling the rights to the finished product or just the idea. -

I think, it depends on what you’re going to film? What are you showing? If you film peoples faces, you need a permission from them, if you only catch some public street life on camera, you don’t. Same thing with buildings. Facades: Cool. Inside: Permission.
