ipod Shuffle animation
Hi
I was wondering if anyone could tell me how this “green ring” animation was done for the new ipod shuffle. A video clip is attached.

How does the green ring go under the hand? I’m pretty sure this was not shot on a green screen.

Simple, manual, frame-by-frame rotoscoping.
Actually, since the hand is fairly static while the rings appear, it would be a fairly simple job.

If you’re wondering about the rings themselves, it’s called radio waves. Effect>Generate>Radio Waves (I think).
