iPhoto Slideshow export settings to FCP
Here’s the scenario. I’ve got a bunch of iPhoto slideshows that I would like to export to Final Cut Pro for a project that will eventually be on a DVD (I like the ken burns effect). What are the optimum export format and A/V settings to preserve the best quality? . First, I understand that NTSC DVD resolution is 720 x 480, correct? I don’t see that option available without choosing “custom setting” in the export window. Then there are lots of options…

When I export iPhoto slideshow,after making large qt movie to FCP, I get a “general error” “Out of memory.”
I have over a terabyte of memory on my disc, so I know it is not that problem. Anyone have a solution?Pat Mason
