    Hi,

Can anyone advise the best way to track and replace the screen on this iPhone? (See attached screenshot) I have had success replacing basic screens before but this has some movement and you can really only see two corners of the screen. The shot is only about 2.5 seconds long but I am not sure what the best way to handle this would be. Any advice would be appreciated as I don’t want to waste too much time trying a bunch of different options.

    Thanks!

Mocha can track planar surfaces and if/when you get a good track you’ll just have to eyeball the screen size if there is no frame where the screen is fully in view.

in support of what Tero was suggesting, here’s a tutorial about it:

follow the basics in this site.

Thanks for the advice! I will have to look into Mocha a bit more.

    Guys,

I have explored Mocha for AE and I have a pretty nice track but my planar surface gets mess up for about the last 10 frames. I don’t fully understand how to adjust my track so that the planar surface sticks better to my corners. Screenshot attached so you can see. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks.
