IoHD but not FCP
I think it’s about time I give up on FCP. Being a PC & Mac editor what options have I got to keep using my IoHD with alternative applications and platfforms.
I’m just about to share in a large project that will be premiere based – not my hardware – and was wondering whether the IoHD will work with the CS suite on the Mac or even better on a PC.

The AJA Io HD product was made in special collaboration with Apple. It is designed to work with Final Cut Pro.If you are considering working with other non-linear editing softwares, you should consider the AJA KONA or AJA Io Express products which offer cross-platform functionality as well as support for a wide variety of non-linear editing applications, among then Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere and Sony Vegas.

Thanks Guys. I know it’s ProRes based but didn’t realize that it was only FCP. Are there any plans to make no FCP drivers?
