    Hey guys,

I’ve been capturing from Digibeta sources via SDI into my Io LD box. We’ve created a custom capture preset using the Offline RT codec and the following specs:

720×486 Offline RT (photo JPEG compression @ 50% quality), 2 ch 48k audio.

Well the clips seem to play alright from the timeline, but when dragged into the viewer window, they do not play back at all. Any thoughts? We have a lot of tapes and need to be working in some kind of offline codec, ideally smaller file sizes than DV codec.

    thanks!

    Oliver

Well as cheap as storage has become, I tend to use the DV codec as my offline.
Over 70 hours will fit on 1TB.
