    Hi,

So finally I got my set up but can’t figure out what is stooping it to work.
    The set up:
Mac pro (snow leopard) with FCP 7 is connected to the io hd via firewire 800, hdmi output of the io hd into the elite pioneer plasma tv.
The io hd doesn’t respond even being connected, the aja control panel is missiong the hardware??

Does anybody have a clue, suggestions what to do.

I do like to monitor or view my work in fcp on the plasma as well watch hulu tv!

I appreciate your time reading and Thanks to all your ideas.

    Have great day

    Max

The IoHD does not currently work with either FCP 7 OR Snow Leopard.

You might try a search here or just looking at some of the other threads about this before you start whining about what to do.

    Max,
in the future, you might want to consider looking at the companies website (no matter what product you purchase) to see if it’s ready.

For example, from the AJA website right now –

    Io HD Software

    News
A compatible driver for the new Final Cut Studio (with Final Cut Pro 7) will be available soon. Until this driver version and associated firmware is released, we recommend that Io HD users continue to work with Final Cut Studio 2.

You see Max, this doesn’t apply to just AJA. It applies to all disk drive arrays, it applies to all video cards. It applies to ANYTHING having to do with ANY computer – PC or MAC. If the “third party company” has not written software for it (think Windows 7 for PC’s) – it’s probably not going to work. The internet lets you avoid these disappointments. But you have to look !

Snow Leopard de-install AJA Control Panel V6.0.3
You will have to wait the new driver for FCP7 and Snow Leopard.
