Invigorator and Mac Pro (intel)
Can anyone shed any light on the reliability of Invigorator running on a Mac Pro and really any Mactel machine? About to take the plunge, but now I am seeing a number of issues with After Effects and figure that I should at least ask the questions before committing.
Adobe does not support AE on Mactel at the moment, and Adobe products run a bit slow under Rosetta. I have seen a report on other boards that reducing AE memory usage prevents crashes while rendering in AE, but I need the ram for textures….particularly with Invigorator.
Thoughts?

Hi Russ,
I’m still running PowerPC macs here, specifically because I’m waiting for Adobe to catch up to Apple’s chip switch. Hopefully that will happen early next year. I have no experience running PPC AE on MacTel machines but am also curious. If you do take the plunge, let us know how it goes.

We’ve done some testing on Intel Macs and haven’t had any trouble yet.
Everything seems to run fine in Rosetta.If any other users out there have had trouble with using Zaxwerks products on
Intel Macs, please let us know.When the Intel-native version of After Effects is ready (some time next year,

I’m having problems on the Mactel with Invigorator. I just upgraded to solve one problem(blank preview window) and now I get noise all over my working AE screen.
Any suggestions?
