inverted preview window (720 footage from an iphone)
Hello Vegas Forum!
I’ve been given some footage shot on an iPhone, some of which was shot upside down.
When I open clips in the event / pan / crop, I’m able to flip vertical.. Then on my ‘video preview external monitor’ it is right side up.
However, in the preview window (not the pan crop) it is still inverted.
Anybody experience something like before?

I’ve had this issue with iphone footage before. The issue I had stemmed from Vegas trying to auto-rotate. If you right-click the clip and go to Properties and then I the media tab, set the rotation to 0 degress. Basically you need to get Vegas to ignore the file’s metadata for what orientation it was recorded at, then have it rotated manually in Event Pan/Crop as you said. If I recall that’s what fixed it for me, but the iphone clips themselves I think gave me rendering problems so I recall converting them to AVI anyway.
