Inverse Telecine with Compressor 4 takes FOREVER
Hi guys… I’m very newbie with Apple FCP/Motion/Compressor (I use adobe premiere most of the time), so I’m having A LOT OF TROUBLE to inverse telecine 3 feature films.
The 3 movies are in 720×480 29,970 Interpolated Apple ProRes and I need to change all of them to 720×480 23,976 progressive Apple ProRes. It is a requirement for Netflix (the movies are going for them.
The problem is that: I don’t know how to do that… In Adobe Media Encoder/Adobe Premiere the converted Videos became a p$#$# of SH#$#$# (shaking and with low quality). In Apple Compressor, the process is running for 2 days and still is in 9%!
My Mac is not a small thing! It is a MAC PRO LATE 2012 2 x 2,4 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon with 12 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 ECC and ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB
I’m Running OS X 10.8.4
Can anyone help-me? Other Program for this conversion, other method, or what is happening that my Compressor (first time i had ever used this software) are doing wrong
