September 4, 2005 at 5:37 pmInvalid AVI File -26400 is what im getting in Encore DVD and DVDit Pro 6. I cannot find a solution other than using another machine which works fine. I have tried capturing with Premiere 6.5, WinDV, Premiere Pro 1.5. I am almost ready for a clean install.

September 4, 2005 at 5:44 pmI think it is some kind of software and/or hardware conflict. This does not happen on my other box which only has Windows XP SP2 with updates and video editing and DVDit. I have not installed Encore DVD yet on this box.

Check out all your files one by one. My invalid AVI turned out to be a first play file that i created in Adobe Premiere 6.5. I created a new one and everything works fine.
