Intuos3 setup for Final Cut Pro
Hi!
I just got blessed with a wonderful Intuos3 6×8+ a Lacie 750GB external drive for 15 inch macbook pro with 4GB RAM and running FCP 6.0.4
and since i got such useful help woth my DVCPRO HD capturing problem. I now come to you asking for some guidance on setting up the intuos.
Basically i do montage, editing, no effects nothing fancy just pure and lovely cutting for storytelling. I want to start learnning some motion and color. but fpr now i need to get some helpl in seting up, and costumizing the tablet and pen variables for maximum efficiency and productivity from you the experts. you know, assigning buttons and the whole thing.

I’d set it up anyway that feels normal. In Color, Shake etc you do need to be able to middle click, so I have one of the express keys set up as that. Pen is click, bottom button right click, top button double click, eraser I find useless. Express keys and touch strips i find useless also, except for the top left express key that I make middle click
