  • Interperet footage – any way to do more than 1 at a time?

I have about 50 video files that need to be interpretted as 24 frames that were shot in 60i. Is there any way to mass interpret? Or do I have to do them one by one?

If they all have the same pulldown cadence, then yes!

Pick your first file and interpret the footage to taste. Then control- or right-click on that footage item after closing the interpret footage dialog and select “remember interpretation.”

Select the rest of your footage items and control- or right-click and select “apply interpretation.”

    Enjoy.

The keyboard shortcuts for these are cmd-opt-c (remember interpretation, ctrl-alt-c on PC) and cmd-opt-v (apply interpretation, ctrl-alt-v on PC).
