Interlaced and audio issues
Ok Im still very new to FCP Im more of a motion graphics guy (AE) than a FCP guy. So please no funny “Why do you just google it video comments”
Anyway. First my issue is this. I filmed a wedding with my Canon XL2. I filmed it with 24p and 16:9 ratio. My video looks great only when I edit it and slow it down to maybe 80 to 60 percent it gets very interlaced. Now I realized that my footage was a bit interlaced even at 100 percent thus making it more apparently interlaced once slowed down. Choppy and traily. I think it might be an issue with the way I have my sequence set up or something. I have filmed stuff before and not had this issue only I dont remember what I did to make that project work fine.
Second issue is this. I have mp3 files on my time line that plays with a popping sound almost repetitively. I checked the audio settings and made sure they were matching the 44.1khz but I dont know anything about audio really. Oh yeah when I play the file from the browser or even in iTunes the audio plays fine but once I have placed it on the timeline and rendered it out it plays poppy.
I think it has something to do with my sequence settings but when I make changes nothing seems to take effect. Is there anyone that can help me. Im losing my mind here. Thanks FCP community.
