    What are your sequence settings?

Interlaced video on a progressive computer monitor will show interlace lines. This is normal. Have you looked at the video on a TV monitor? Everything should look correct.

If you want a version to play specificaly on a computer, then make a final version via Compressor and deinterlace using frame controls.

    Sequence Settings:

    1920×1080 HDTV 1080i(16:9)
    Pixel Aspect Ratio: Square
    Field Dominance: Upper (Odd)
    Editing Timebase: 25
Compressor: XDCAM EX 1080i50 (35Mb/s VBR)

I’ve edited things before. Shot on different cameras (including the EX3) etc and haven’t had this problem before

No i haven’t looked at it on a TV monitor.

I have edited things before and haven’t had this problem so I figured i’m missing a setting somewhere or something.
unfortunately Compressor is not working at the moment. It wont allow me to press the ‘submit’ button, so thats the next ting on the list to fix.

you said that you shot p25 but you are editing in an interlaced sequence.
    You are generating the interlacing.
    Edit in a p25 sequence.

Normal. That is what interlaced footage looks like on the screen.
Always view footage on an external TV monitor.

Like Rafael, try a proressive sequence settings or verify match with footage.
