Interference correction
I’m looking for some advice on a very specific problem. I’m not that versed in video terminology so I might not use the correct terms to describe the problem. We shot a couple hours of DV footage using a wireless UHF transmitter taped to the camera so the cameraman would not be entangled in the monitor cable. What we did not expect was that this might induce some interference on the tapes. So now we have what looks like a crooked moire pattern on each frames. It seems to affect only the luminosity component (kind of a zebra pattern, where the luminosity goes up and down at an even frequency). I’ve done some tinkering trying to isolate the noise, invert it and apply it over the footage and this got rid of the noise. The problem is I was not able to isolate the noise perfectly so I pretty much render the cleaned footage useless. I found a moir
