  Intensity workflow – please clarify

  I have an Intensity Pro card, not yet installed.

  The Blackmagic website talks a lot about monitoring but not so much about getting your project back out to tape.

  Can someone please clarify the following:

  1. Assuming you capture via HDMI from a HDV camera or deck, to one of the non-HDV Blackmagic codecs. You then edit your project, using the Intensity’s HDMI output for monitoring on a HD monitor.

  When the project is finished, and I want to go back to an HDV master tape, do I need to export the project as HDV, or do I play out via component and record in real-time to HDV (not sure my deck allows this)

  Assuming I want to make a SD DV master, do I set the Intensity to output SD and record to tape.

  Likewise I assume I can export to any other format.
