Intensity Shuttle, Vegas and other stuff
So I have a dilemma and I am hoping someone can help. I want to get the Shuttle for capturing, streaming and all that good stuff in Vegas.
You all probably know about the P67 boards but I cannot see anyone else with a Shuttle and P67 to verify it works. It only seems that the Gigabyte board has this “turbo boost” for USB3 but even then I am unsure if that will work. The Asus P67 boards have nothing of this kind.
So do I take the plunge with P67 and hope it will work or go with the tried and tested X58 which everyone now seems to think is no match for P67.

Most of the negative post for the Intensity Shuttle are due to not having an X58 or P55 chip set and the express slot not having the bandwidth to handle the USB 3 card speed needed for the shuttle.
I don’t understand why you want a MB without these chipsets, has a recall due to the Sandybridges processor and doesn’t have any USB 3 ports. You could be the first to try one and let us know if it works though. -
Did the shuttle work on the p67?
