If you are using the intensity pro, to play games off of, or capture footage from your Xbox 360, then be warned of a fatal error known as “E74″…The E74 is a hardware error that eventually will crash the system, but starts off with pixelation, followed by the appearance of an error message and a single red light.

If this starts happening, or is about to start happening, then your Intensity Pro may stop receiving a signal at all from your Xbox.

While other TVs may receive a signal from your Xbox, because of the intensity pro’s strict connection settings, it will stop receiving a signal from your Xbox.

If this happens to you, the E74 has extended warranty coverage by Microsoft, so good luck!

Just to clarify. This is an issue with Xbox360’s that have some failing in the HDMI interface. This is something that has been attributed to potentially weak solder points on the Xbox. This is not something that the Intensity series (or any BMD product) causes or makes worse.

So if you do see this type of issue you will need to contact Microsoft about an exchange for the unit.

    Sincerely,
