Intensity Pro problems
Hi,
I just installed the Intensity Pro into my
MacPro Quad 2.66
6gb ram
atix1900xt
osx 10.5.2
final cut pro 6.0.2I am having no problems whatsoever with analogue outputs but hdmi is not working. I can output hd perfectly with a component cable but am unable to preview out of hdmi. When I switch from component to hdmi on my tv and tell final cut to output all frames I either get no signal whatsoever or I get this crazy neon red stripey corrupted image.
The cable is hdmi to dvi since my 1080i tv is dvi only for digital. I have tried outputting 1080i using the same tv and cable from my ps3 without a problem. I have also tried running that cable into my dell wfp 2007 and the dell tells me that it is receiving no signal whatsoever (again ps3 worked with this set up).
I have updated firmware and drivers to the latest 1.8.4, etc. This problem confuses me.
If anyone has any ideas for me I would appreciate the help.

If anyone has any idea about this I would really appreciate the help. I also put in a support request with blackmagic design without avail. Does anyone know a number I could call for Blackmagic tech support.

Hi Ryan,
Intensity is designed to output to a HDMI monitor and if you use a DVI monitor, the colour of the signals will not be compatible. DVI monitors require an RGB signal while Intensity outputs a YUV signal.
