I emailed support on the blackmagic website, but it’s been slow getting a response so I thought I’d ask here.

According to their website, the intensity pro has several requirements and list a few approved motherboards. They all seem to be older chipset motherboards. I know the intensity card has been around a couple years, but I want make sure it will work in one of the PCI express slots on a Z68 motherboard.

Is there any reason it wouldn’t?

Mine has been spotty on a Mac Pro 2.93GHz.
    Worse now since installing 9.5.
Installed it yesterday to test Premiere Pro CS 6 and FCPX worked fine all day.
    Today its dead.
I un-installed all drivers and installed again.
After reboot, no card shows up on System Report or BM panel 🙁
