Intensity Pro not recognized on Win 7 Pro
Hi!
I bought an Intensity Pro card for my PC and encoutered a lot of problems installing it.
This is my Win 7 Professional PC:Mainboard: GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD5
CPU: 3,20 GHz Intel Core i7-970 6 cores
Graphic card: Radeon ATI Radeon 5770 1GB
RAM: 24 GB DDR3-1333 Kingston/Corsair 6x4GB
Hard drives: 1st SSD SATA 80GB Intel X-25M/MLC
2nd SATA3 1500GB 32MB Seagate Barracuda (F) 5.900
Optical drives: LG BH10LS Blu-ray Writer+DVD Writer
LG CH10LS Blu-ray Drive + DVD 16xWriter LGWhen I installed the card it is recodnized and asks for drivers.
After the installation everything works fine.
When quickly reboot it is still ok.BUT when I shut the PC down and restart it after a few minutes the card is not regcognized
anymore. So I changed the PCIe slots (first it was installed in PCIe x1_2).
I tried all available slots : 16_1, 16_2 and 8_2.
On first boot in every slot it is recognized but after that not anymore.
I used the latest driver 3.9.4.
Also I tried the Decklink driver 7.9.6 as the Intensity will run under this (I was told by BMD).Then I installed a new graphics card ZOTAC GeForce GT 430.
Here I get the same problems as with the Radeon card.First I thought the Gigabite motherboard were the problem but the Intensity works completely fine with my
ASUS EN9400GT graphics card. No problems at all. Also it works fine with the Radeon 5770 on my old PC (ASUS M3n78-EM motherboard).
Here also no problems at all.By the way there are no power saving options in my BIOS.
Does anyone have an idea what I can do to get the card working for a longer time (not just until the next shutdown)???
I am quite desperate now.
Blackmagic Design Support could not help me yet.
Thanks very much in advance.Guido
