  • Intensity Pro and Premiere Pro CS5.5 – jerky playback even after Rendering…

    Hey 🙂

    I have a problem:

I use a Intensity Pro with Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5.
And I playout the Timeline through HDMI to a Flat-TV…

The problem is, it is not possible to playout my Timeline (1080i50) without the playback gets interuppted!!!
After a few seconds the playback stopps…

Even if I render the whole Workarea the playback stopps (if I use some particular Effects for example the 3D-Effect…)

Some other Effects for example the Ultra Keyer will playback smoothly (after Rendering the timeline)…

    I don’t know what I do wrong….
    Can yomeone help me?

ok, my PC is not the fastest
Dual Core, 3 GB RAM, IWndows Vista 64bit

But why the UltraKey is played out smooth after rendering and the 3D-Effect not?

oh I just found the solution self….

I have made a 3D PiP Effect (with the 3D-Effect)…
I have rendered the video and the playback always stops.
Its because I have no background used (just transparent > black)…
If I use a picture or Video as background the playback is smooth 😉

    Christian,

Thanks for sharing this. At first I was thinking that you were dropping frames and was gonna ask about your hard drive setup, but this is very interesting. So if you have no video in a background (id assume your V1 is being used as the source of the pip) you are getting this problem?

I’d be interested in getting a sample project that shows this so we can check and send this to engineering.

If you’re so inclined you can email that to support-usa@blackmagic-design.com. Put ATTN: Joshua in the subject and reference this post. That way we can check and look into this a bit more.

But really appreciate you posting your finding!

    Sincerely,

    Joshua
