Intensity and HD extreme in the same Computer

You coud have HDLink with HDMI.
As i underestand it should be awailable.

But we need HDMI in too – to be able to capture from HDV.
And the HD-link is more expensive than the Instesity card:-)

Please somebody from BlackMagic – is this possible?

Hi Mats,

It probably will be but I doubt it will be possible in the initial driver release. It would be nice to do so we’ll look at that possibility once Intensity is shipping. I can’t guarantee it but I can’t see any reason why we couldn’t do it.

Thanks for your swift answer. How about HD extreme and HD Studio in the same machine? You can have two Instensity can’t you?

What would be the issue with two card in the same machine – wouldn’t it just be a matter of choosing input and output in FCP. I’m using a Decklink HD plus and Matrox MXO together with no issues – I just choose what to output to in FCP…
