May 16, 2019 at 6:25 pmHi Sam,
It’s not an .mov, it’s an .mp4, it’s listed as Intel HEVC, just above the MAGIX AVC/AAC MP4 format.

This is where you will find it. Choose your template and adjust accordingly. Loads of tutorials on Youtube.
Cheers !

May 16, 2019 at 7:30 pmThe file extention .mov, .mp4, .avi are examples of containers (wrapper) that hold audio and video contents, which can be various specifications used my various codecs, such as h.264, h.265, and ProRes.
I’m not asking you to prove it, I don’t have Vegas Pro 14 and want to compare it to the VP15/VP16 and look for the HEVC/.mov that is in v14 previous version.

May 16, 2019 at 11:36 pmIn Vegas Pro 16 it’s hidden. Hold Shift + click Options/Preferences to see the Internal tab. In “Show only prefs. containing” search: enable legacy. Then you should see “Enable Legacy (Mainconcept AVC/AAC and Intel HEVC) render plugins”. Click FALSE in Value and replace it with TRUE. Click OK. It’ll be .mp4 though as shown in the screenshot from Francois and as in VP 15 and VMSP 16.

May 16, 2019 at 11:49 pmThank You Jorma for jumping in on this, I had forgotten that Intel HEVC was a part of the legacy with Mainconcept. That should make it easier for Sam.
Best Regards……George
