integrating 5D footage with other video in final cut pro
So we are trying to intercut Canon 5D material with some video shot on a Sony EX3 using final cut pro. The problem is that the 5D footage is very jumpy! We have converted it correctly to our knowledge: 422 pro res, 25fps using compressor as well as mpeg stream, placed onto a 422 timeline. But it still looks jumpy.
And even more strangely, some of the footage jumps more than others (though it was all shot on the same camera, on different days).
Can anyone help us? We are up against a ridiculous deadline.

What are your specs?
In my short experience, I edited directly the h264 and it’s just jumpy after a cut. You just have to listen if the audio it’s okay and then export for a final look. Does it jumps even along a single clip?
I comment this so to ask everyone else if it’s just a matter of computer power. In that case, do we need more memory, more cpu, more what?

The 5D shoots 30 frame, so how did you convert it to 25? I suspect that is where the problem is.
