    Installing PPro CS4 and then updates

    Hi,

    i have a question about installing PPro CS4 and his updates.
    There a 4 updates

    4.0.1 with 108 MByte
    4.1.0 with 30 MByte
    4.2.0 with 220 MByte
    4.2.1 with 110 MByte

    Can i install PPro CS4 and update only to version 4.2.1
    or do i have to first update to 4.0.1 then 4.1.0 then 4.2.0
    and then finaly to 4.2.1?

    i tried to update direct from 4.0.0 to 4.2.1 and it sems
    to work, but to be sure i want to ask other.
    Because i am a little bit confused that
    4.2.1 is smaller (110MB) than 4.2.0 with 220MB!
    And even 4.1.0 with 30MB is much smaller than 4.0.1!!

    4.2.1 is a fix for AVC intra.
    So if you do not use that no need to install.

    Good question.

    According to Adobe, v4.1 is included with v4.2.

    However, as per the size of the updates, I suspect v4.0.1 not to be included in v4.1, nor in v4.2. I will therefore wait for any confirmation before beginning on the installations.
