  • Installing FCP and Avid on the HD?

I have currently have a setup where I have a mac pro quad core. The internal HD has been split into 2 partitions. On one is FCP and on the other is Media Composer 3.01. The Avid hardware that I am running is an SDI Mojo. I as yet do not have any hardware cards for the FCP, will at some stage go for either a Kohna or Black Magic.

I was advised to run x2 partitions because of potential driver conflicts between SDI mojo – Black Magic or Koha cards.

I understand that 3.05 media composer has been released and that this is qualified to run with Leopard.

Should I still run x2 internal hd partitions for both Avid and FCP or can I now have just one partition with both apps installed?
