Insight on this music video effects
Hello there,
I have been very impressed by this music video’s effects:
https://youtu.be/IIX9aoN7g4oParticularly, I really liked the kind of depth, drawing 3D effect, for example, between 0:18 and 0:29.
I have been wanting to try something like this, but I’m a bit lost as to the nature of this type of animation.
Is this a mix between a 3D software and After Effects?
A 3D camera within After Effects with 2D layers and mask effects?I’m intermediate with Maya and After Effects!

Definitely 3D initially. 2D effects in AE on top to make it look more like a drawn/painted image. Could be almost any 3D package, Maya included.
