Is it possible to insert multiple veg files into one project that include all the tracks with each veg file? OR is it possible to expand the multiple veg files once they put in a project as one track?

I’m trying to create a “highlight reel” and want the ability to remove certain clips and sounds in each program that I wish to combine.
    Thanks.

Roger, what you want to do can certainly be done.
Import the required veg files and drop them on your timeline.
Be patient as it has to build a proxy file for each veg file and, depending on the length and complexity of the original project, this may take some time.
Each veg file will come up as a single video track and a single stereo audio track.
This is normal so don’t be worried.
To do any editing on a specific veg file, right-click on it while it’s on the timeline and select Edit in Vegas (projectname.veg).
This opens up the project in a new instance of Vegas.
Make your desired changes, save it, exit and the veg file in the existing project is automatically updated.

    Thanks Mike.
Will this change my original veg file which I want to keep intact. I don’t want that to happen.

Roger, yes it will alter the original veg files.
I recommend copying the ones you want to use to a brand new folder and renaming them before doing what I suggested.
Work with the renamed vegs and your originals will be untouched.
