    Vegas Pro 10

By default…Noise Gate, EQ, and Compressor are the assigned effects whenever you insert an audio track.

Is there a way to “permanently” assign/add another FX (for example reverb)as part of that FX list so i don’t have to keep adding it every time i want a new track?

    thanks

Yes, get it all set up the way you want and right click on the track header and select “set default track properties”. (It works for video track too.)

    thanks for the quick response.
    that certainly helps.
I noticed Vegas wants to leave all the effects “checked” so if I set it up just the way I want(everything checked except 1 reverb unchecked) that track seems to want to stay checked as well when I insert a new track. Is there a way to prevent it?
