Insert edit placing clip at beginning of timeline
I was trying to make an insert edit from the source into the timeline and instead of it working as normal, there was a popup box that came up. I can’t remember exactly what it said, but something like the clip was too small or large for the insert point and it wanted me to select an option. I selected i\gnore outpoint I think and the foolishly ticked the “choose this every time” box.
From this point on, when i do an insert edit, it places the clip at the very beginning of the timeline. I cannot find anywhere in preferences to change this back to the original behavior, anyone have any ideas what is going on?

If you have in/out points set in the sequence then you’re doing a four point edit.

You can change the default behaviour in the preferences.
