  Inner glow not visible?

  Hi there.

  I have a problem, which has occured twice in two days, and it is quite annoying.
  It happens when i try to apply an effect, this time inner glow, to an object. I can’t see it, it doesn’t change anything.
  I happened yesterday when i tried to apply it to a text object, same problem, nothing happened. It is visible as an applied effect in the appearance panel, but visually there’s nothing.

  I’m working in a fresh document, CMYK, 300ppi.

  Any ideas? I also remember having trouble applying a gradient to an object with the annotator (is the gradient tool called that?)

  I’m using CS5.
