Inferior DVX100 battery charger/AC adapter
FYI, we have over 10, DVX100’s and three of the battery chargers/ac adapters have broken. If these units are ever so slightly jarred they stop working and are only available at B&H for a whopping $159. Needless to say Panasonic is making an inferior product and overcharging for a replacement.

as an FYI- the universal quick chargers for Panasonic camcorder batteries they sell at places like Best Buy for $40 work fine. That plus the high capacity dvx user batteries and you’ll be good to go.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately we use the units as the AC adapter 99% of the time. -
All the same- there are $30 A/C units at any electronics store that deals Panasonic Camcorders. You need not pay top dollar for this item.

Something odd here, as I have dropped them, shipped them, stepped on them, carried them on an airplane in a canvas bag and trown into the overhead, stuffed them into over packed suitcases and not once had a problem.
