Industry Standards??
I have taken over a feature film and it is in a bit of a mess. All the reels have no start or end leaders. Anyone know the industry standard or have a preference that helps them get the job done right?

You could ask the lab/facility that did the telecine transfer and dailies if they have some academy leader transferred to tape. If nothing else, just slug in a 8 second element with a single frame of 1K tone at the 6 second mark (2 seconds before first frame of picture (FFOP)). If using 35mm, then it is 12+00 feet total. If using timecode, make sure to use NDF30 or 24TC to calculate – DF should work for timings under 1 minute, but better to be safe than sorry.
