    Hello,

I’ve been using my Audix SCX HC hyper mics indoors on a Rycote Invision 7, which is great. But there is
still the issue of wind noise during handling and swinging that I’m trying to eliminate. The stock foam windscreens aren’t cutting it. I’ve heard some folks suggest keeping a baby ball gag on all the time.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Colin

A BBG will let you sleep better. One of the BBG’s from Rycote or Schoeps should fit nicely, not cheap but they do work.

That’s what I need to hear.

    Thanks Eric!

For a lot less money you might want to checkout the “Fatcat” from remoteaudio.com. It’s a small furry wind cover that I use on my Sennheiser MKH 50 outside and it’s very good for $68.
