Indiana Style map route fading line
Good afternoon,
I am in the process of producing map route which I have done by creating a path applying the stroke effect. The route works great but I would like the preceding part of the route to fade out as the route is draw but I am not sure how to go about it being new to AE.
Thank you for any help.
(I am running CS5 on Win 7)

A simple method would be to use multiple strokes and masks.
Mask 1 and Stroke 1 for the first part of the journey and as you start Mask 2, Stroke 2, you being the fade out of the Stroke 1.
