Hi, I am new to this, so apologies if this winds up being a stupid question.

I am trying to add a number at the corner of a video that changes value (increases) at each keyframe I have marked. I already went through and did this with the Numbers Effect, but afterwards I realized that it gradually counted up between keyframes, rather than just changing. I tried with a text layer, but that does not seem to allow me to easily change the source text each time. Is there something I am missing or another effect I can use?

Many thanks in advance for any advice given.

Hi Sam, if you use the Numbers Effect set keyframes where you want it to change, then select them and right click and select Toggle Hold Keyframe. They will hold then jump to the current number when they reach a keyframe. Does that do what you need?

Yes, that is exactly what I was looking for. I knew it had to be something simple I was missing. Thank you so much.
