INCREDIBLY Long time to Render !!!!
hii am long time reader first time poster , I have this issue with rendering in Sony Vegas pro 11 ,the approximate time lift is something between 9-11 Hours ….for only 1 MINUTE !!
the project Includes 7 footage (.mov shoot in FULLHD with a canon elph500 hs)I have added a color curves and magic bullet look for each video , simple “fade out fade in ” transition between each video … and thats it !!
I dont believe that such an effects would lead to such a long time !
my Proprieties is 720p 30p .mp4
and my pc proprieties : duel-core , 2.0 GHZ , 2GB RAM DD3 .
please some one help me with this , am really afraid to render again !!
what if i wanna render a 10 min should I wait +100 Hours !!!!what are the best proprieties to render a .mov fullHD footage ,and to what format !?

Sounds about right, actually.
A dual-core PC is way underpowered for the FX you are adding.
2Gb of RAM is the minimum for Windows 7, let alone trying to run Vegas, too. I would bet that your O/S is hitting the swap file quite often. You don’t say, but if you only have one HDD, then go read a book while you render (or more likely, encode).
Last, color Curves and Magic Bullet FX affect EVERY pixel in EVERY frame. Really slows down even faster systems.Steve Mann

Pretty much if you insist on using a two-cylinder engine on a dragster. Honestly, your PC is so underpowered I am surprised that it even finishes the “Render As”.
Since the FX you are using affect every pixel on every frame, the choice of “Render-To” format is really irrelevant. They are all going to crawl.

Ahmed, from my experience, the Magic Bullet FX is the main culprit here. It seems to be the most intensive FX. As a test, I would remove that FX and see if your render time improves dramatically. If so then try to use a combination of other filters to get the same effect as MB. And you will want to upgrade your PC soon 🙂

Removing the Magic Bullet Filters would improve the
render time yes, But that alone wont help the situation.
