Incredibly basic question about rendering
Hi, I’m completely new to After Effects, and currently working my way through AE Apprentice. I completed the first project and went about rendering it into a movie. However, when it came to choosing a type of movie to render the project as, the only option I had was to render it as an avi. I couldn’t choose quicktime, or anything else. Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I have After Effects, in fact, all my Adobe products saved onto another drive on my computer, my D: drive. I have Quicktime installed on my OS, C: drive. But yeah, it is installed. The avis export perfectly, but it’s pretty debilitating if I’ve only got one option for rendering!
