Incorrect media linking on export
I pass this along in case you run into the same issue. I had a Premiere Pro CC sequence today (720p/59.94 Avid DNxHD rendering) with the usual mix of source codecs, sizes, rates. I had rendered the preview files and set up an export queue in AME for 3 formats. I had enabled the “maximum depth” and “use previews” in the export settings. When I checked the renders, media was completely wrong. Apparently Premiere or AME must have linked to the wrong source clips (or wrong point in the clips) as it created the exports. I went to re-export the sequence, but this time unchecked the “maximum depth” and “use previews” settings. These exports were successful and correct. Go figure.

Another factor that may be related is that the files that were incorrectly linked are long spanned interview files from a C300. These were originally imported into another PProCC project last fall and Premiere completely munged the spanning. Within a master clip, the order of the component clips was random (or so it appears), such that the start of the interview is somewhere in the middle of the clip. During any of these edits all was OK – everything always came up in the same place. No media linking issues with any of the exports and edits, except when I used the preview render files as part of the export.
